Soup Kitchen

We provide homemade soup for the Stoughton/Sharon Food Pantry several times a month from September through May. Volunteers donate, shop, prepare ingredients and make a variety of soups. All are welcome to participate in this project.

Socks/Bedding/Books – Pine Ridge Reservation

On an ongoing basis, our Church donates socks, bedding and books to the Lakota American Indians in South Dakota.

Giving Tree

During the Christmas season, we collect mittens and hats and donate the articles to a local homeless shelter.

Our Church family supports “client” families by purchasing Christmas gifts for children and adults.

Church World Service

Each year, hygiene kits and school kits are assembled and sent to our national Church World Service to be used in emergencies throughout the world.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

On Thursdays, a group of knitters meet to hand craft beautiful shawls to give to those in need of prayerful support. Parishioners and community members, in celebratory and sad times, are wrapped in our love and support.

Mission Trips

Over the years, our Church has had mission trips to various parts of our country including South Carolina, Tennessee, and New Orleans. Currently, we are sending a mission team in collaboration with the “Remember” organization to support the Lakota Native Americans who live on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Church Budget Support for Missions

Our Churches’ annual budget as well as the Men’s club and Dorcas groups support local and worldwide mission organizations.
