TWO TREES TWO OPPORTUNITIES to help make the Holiday Season merrier for the residents of Evelyn House in Stoughton. ( a branch of Mainspring House in Brockton) Evelyn house provides meals and temporary shelter for families in need.
THE PAJAMA TREE Beginning Nov.22nd there will be a small Christmas Tree located in the Parish Hall decorated with gift tags. Each tag has the name age and pajama size of an individual. You can help by selecting a gift tag and purchasing a pair of pajamas for the individual of your choice. You may also want to add a small age appropriate surprise along with the pajamas. Please return your wrapped gifts to the church no later than Dec. 13th. They may be placed near the piano in the Parish Hall after the Evergreen Bazaar. Please use the original gift tag when returning your gifts so that we can ensure each resident receives a gift.
THE MITTEN TREE Beginning Sunday Dec. 6th a Christmas Tree will be located in the Sanctuary. Please help us decorate the tree with new, warm, hats. gloves and scarves. These items will also be donated to needy families over the cold winter season. These items may be placed on the tree during worship service until Dec. 13th.
