Sunday, March 7 at 11:30 am
in the Parish Hall.

Holy Conversations

We are hoping to constitute the groups to meet March 7-14 for conversation
about mission and vision, and we really hope to have a large portion of our
congregation take part.

If you did not already fill out a card and bring it to church yesterday, we would appreciate it if you could respond to this email today and let us know your first and second preference!

Prayer Shawl Dedication

Sunday, February 21, during services, we will be 
blessing the prayer shawls lovingly made by some
of the Ladies of the church.  Please bring your
shawls in and place them on the altar or see Sally
Morandi. Information on our Prayer Shawl Ministry
is in the Parish Hall.

 

 

CPR CLASS FUNDRAISER FOR ACCESS NEW ORLEANS II

CPR CLASS – ACCESS NEW ORLEANS FUNDRAISER – Suzanne of CPR WORLD in Canton, use to live in New Orleans and she would like to do whatever she can to help.  She will give a free CPR class to anyone going on the trip and offer a CPR class to anyone else at half price ($35.00).  She will give the $35 fee back to us for the trip.  We have reserved March 6 at 3:00 p.m. to take the class, but other dates are available as well.  Spread the word and ask friends if they would like to participate in a CPR Class.  Please call the office if you would like to attend.

ASH WEDNESDAY MARKS BEGINNING OF LENT

  Join us at 7 pm on Wednesday, February 17^th as we gather for a quiet, meditative service to begin the journey of Lent.

 Helen Nablo will offer a brief reflection on the meaning of ashes.  Communion will be part of our worship.  People will be invited to also receive ashes as a mark of all that we share in our earthly journey.  We expect the service to be no more than half an hour.

 Perhaps there is a friend you might wish to invite, someone who has been working to find their way.  Ash Wednesday brings with it the comfort that we are all of us seekers, and all of us accompanied by God.
